We’ve never had Bordeaux this good—and ready to drink today—for such a low price!
Bordeaux is the legendary French wine region with thousands of years of winemaking history, and its Grand Cru Classé Châteaux are among the most prestigious vineyards on earth. For centuries, they’ve used their inimitable terroir—the way that soil, climate, and winemaking tradition combine to become something greater than the sum of its parts—to produce some of the finest, most-coveted wines in the world.
During a tasting trip earlier this year, we visited Bernard Magrez, the wine magnate who owns Château Pape Clément and three other Grand Cru Classé Châteaux in his native Bordeaux, along with a wealth of award-winning estates around the world. We get some of our best wine from Magrez, including the award-winning Cépage line, and were excited to try more. This time, he outdid himself.
During our visit, Magrez shared three wines from prestigious Bordeaux estates: 2006 Château Fombrauge Cuvee Les Cèdres Saint Emilion Grand Cru, 2006 Château La Tour Carnet Cuvèe Sire Haut-Mèdoc, and 2009 Château Haut Bommes Sauternes.
They were so good we bought them on the spot…not all three wines, but every bottle left in the cellar.
We were able to purchase the rest of Bernard Magrez’s limited stock of these wines, plucking them directly from Magrez’s cavernous wine cellar—the ideal condition for aging these rarefied wines. This means that you must act fast to get the last of this perfectly aged wine, because when they’re gone…they’re gone!
Drink like Dustin Hoffman and Woody Allen…without paying $140 a bottle
For the past 89 years, New York’s A-listers have frequented the iconic Russian Tea Room two blocks from Central Park, next door to Carnegie Hall. Founded by members of the Russian Imperial Ballet in 1927, the restaurant’s fine continental Russian cuisine–and loads of caviar–are paired with an equally stunning 20-page wine list. And what is the finest, most expensive Haut-Médoc Bordeaux on the list? Why it’s the 2006 Château La Tour Carnet Cuvèe Sire priced at…$140! You won’t pay that with us, and you won’t have to guess where the wine has been for the past 10 years, because our wine comes directly from the castle itself.
This is a superlative offer from Wine Insiders, both in terms of rarity and investment. And, this is hands-down, the finest wine that we have ever offered—available to you at a fraction of its retail value. In all of our travels through France and beyond, these were the best Bordeaux that we’ve been lucky enough to taste.
Act on this quickly, for yourself or the wine connoisseur in your life, before these gems are gone forever!
