Syrah has a long and noble history. It is King in France's Northern Rhone and has been used to make beautiful wines through out the world. Syrah is not as heavily planted in Chile with Carmenere and Cabernet being dominant, but the producers who plant this varietal are doing amazing things. Camartina Syrah shows beautifully from the moment it opens. Its darker nature shows aromas and flavors of blackcurrant, cherry and blackberries, with a touch of oak and mild tannins. This wine is easy to drink and can be enjoyed in almost any setting you choose.
