Riesling is a fascinating grape of many faces. From bone dry to lusciously sweet, this variety is delicious at any sugar level with its intense aromas and steely acidity. The 2012 Twin Bridges is a wonderful example of an ideal vintage from the Central California Coast featuring aromas of nectarine, mandarin, jasmine, lemon and lime zest, and just the right amount of honey, as well as a nice balance between crisp acidity and soft sweetness.
Tied Knot Trail wines come from one of our favorite vintners and are produced from grapes grown in one of the first vineyards in the state planted to Riesling in California. The winemaker continues to impress with each new vintage. The 2010 is delicate, soft and approachable while remaining refreshingly crisp. Fruit takes center stage with aromas and flavors of Meyer lemon, pink grapefruit and peach. Enjoy with richly-sauced seafood, poultry or fruited rice dishes.
