Rueda is situated in the heart of the Iberian Peninsula right between the two most famous Spanish wine growing regions of Ribera del Duero and Toro. The high plateau of this region produces long cold winter, short springs, and hot summers, which provides optimal ripeness to the berries. This perfect climate combine with modern winemaking techniques produces bright wines with character. Pale yellow with subtle golden hues, Blume flaunts juicy tangerine, orange peel and white flowers, with a slight hint of fennel to add a touch of sweet aroma. Body is medium and the finish is dry. The 2014 vintage scored 91 points in the 2014 Ultimate Wine Challenge and a Bronze medal in the Decanter Wine Awards 2014.
