2015 Les Collines de Cézanne Rosé
A quick glance at this stunning Rosé and you’ll instantly notice the gorgeous salmon hue sheening from the bottle. Some say this is the perfect color for judging Rosé from the South of France, noting that it will be light, refreshing, and have layers of fruit and depth that you would desire. A blend of Grenache and Cinsault, the Les Collines de Cézanne Rosé holds true to this ideology.
As we opened the bottle and poured the first glass aromas of fresh smashed strawberries and white plums enticed our sense of smell. Swirl the wine around in the glass to unleash the flavors of lemon, grapefruit and white peaches, paired with the perfect amount of acidity. This Rosé doesn’t fall short as it lingers a second or two, delivering a pleasant mouthfeel. This Rosé is perfect for the summer and great as a pre-dinner drink or paired with poultry and even lamb dishes.
The Sumeiere family have won countless awards over the years for their Rose wine efforts including Gold medals at the Concours Des Wins Elle 2015 and a Gold and Silver medal at the Mondial du Rosé in recent years. The Sumeiere Family of Rosés have also been recommended by the Decanter Tasting Panel, Wall Street Journal, and Forbes magazine.
