Bayshore Founder's Reserve White Blend
White wine blends are always a fun wine to enjoy as they have so many characteristics that go in a lot of circumstances. A fusion of unique flavors that can give you a wine with ripe flavors and crisp mouth feel in a single bottle. Bayshore Vintners Founder’s Reserve White Blend is just that bottle. Flavors of apricot dance with lemon zest with floral and lavender aromas make this a tasty treat. This wine drinks smooth with a light amount of vibrancy and a pleasant finish. Enjoy this wine today with friends as it requires no food to pair but would go great with citrus kissed fish and grilled romaine salad.
Longitude White Blend
Portuguese white wines are not on the tip of most people's tongue and honestly, we are not sure why. We've carried a few Portuguese whites in the past and they have been big sellers. I assume it is because of the flavor profile and value combination that it delivers, its an easy choice to make. We welcome Longitude white to our lineup and it delivers with out a hitch. A crisp white that delivers flavors of melon, honey, and citrus with a vibrant but slightly weighted finish. Its a wine that at the price, is perfect for having around, chilled, ready to go at a moments notice.
LaPetite Tour White Blend
La Petite Tour wines were introduced more than 30 years ago. This blend of white grapes has remained the family's favorite. It was only made in small lots for their own table, until now. Exclusive to Wine Insiders, it is a delicately aromatic, medium-bodied wine with flavors of ripe pear and surprisingly bright citrus notes. And, it’s a versatile food wine, that pairs well with fish, grilled chicken or vegetables.
El Portal Red Blend
Both Zinfandel and Merlot are popular grapes on their own and this combination with Syrah proves that the sum can be greater than its parts. Concentrated blackberry and cherry aromas are joined by notes of black currant, plum, spice and violet. Fruit forward flavors are accented with a touch of sweet tobacco and spice. A smooth texture and ripe tannins make this wine very food friendly.
Gejas Red Blend
As the name says, this is a wine big on flavor and bold, with ripe flavors floating over a fine structure of natural fruit acidity. If you haven’t already tried it, there’s no better time than now. The Geja’s Big Bold Red is a feisty, impudent red with prominent, aggressive tannins that are fresh and forward. This is one wine you can enjoy every day of the week at a price that’s hard to beat.
Albarrada Red Blend
Certainly, when you think of Portuguese wine, the first thing that comes to mind is the signature Port. Port is delicious but the layers of Portuguese winemaking are so much deeper than that. Albarrada is a new and exclusive winery that makes amazing wine that showcases local grapes. This red wine (or vinho tinto, in Portuguese) features a local grape, called Castelão. Native to the soils of Portugal, Castelão. It is unusual, finding a better home in the drier and harsher climate of Portugal than the normally more grape friendly soils of temperate climates. When well cared for, the wine that results is aromatic and fruit-forward with notes of red berries and slight hints of floral notes. This profile has made Castelão one of the most beloved grapes of Portugal and this Albarrada is a brilliant representation of the native grape.
