Albarrada is a new and exclusive winery that showcases local Portuguese grapes. This excellent red wine (or vinho tinto, in Portuguese) features Castelão grapes, which thrive on Portugal’s drier, harsher climate. The resulting wine is aromatic and fruit-forward with notes of red berries and mild floral notes. We suggest Albarrada Red for fans of Tempranillo and Barbera, especially if you pair it with French charcuterie or Korean short ribs.

Cuvèe Joëlle Malbec et Merlot

Among the many noteworthy French grapes, two have become especially treasured for their stunning wines. Malbec has a dark, rustic nature, while Merlot features a soft, fruit forward, and herbaceous character. When blended, they craft a unique flavor. Cuvèe Joëlle fuses red plum, raspberry, blackberry, vanilla, and fresh herbs. This exciting red blend is meant to be paired with fun dishes like bacon-wrapped blue cheese stuffed dates, pungent cheeses, and bacon blue cheese burgers.

El Portal Red Blend

Both Zinfandel and Merlot are popular grapes on their own, and this combination with Syrah proves that the sum can be greater than its parts. In this smooth and ripe-flavored red, blackberry and cherry aromas are joined by notes of black currant, plum, spice, and violet. Touches of sweet tobacco and spice accentuate the fruit-forward flavor, making El Portal Red Blend very food friendly.

The 2013 vintage of Pavillon La Tourelle Bordeaux won multiple awards, including a 96-point Platinum Medal.
