Case of the Mondays Mixed 12 Pack
Your mixed pack select includes the following wines:
Kiyapura Sauvignon Blanc Valle Central, Chile
This Sauvignon Blanc is a clean, citrusy, lean and fresh wine. The nose is full of grapefruit and green apple followed by zesty flavors of green fruits, lime, and floral notes and a long, crisp finish. Outstanding as an aperitif or a cocktail wine, it is also ideal with salads using arugula, fennel, or roasted bell peppers, and is a refreshing companion for richer white meats like pork and lobster.
Camartina Sauvignon Blanc Colchagua Valley, Chile
Made from perfect fruit that comes from an estate vineyard in the Colchagua Valley, the Camartina is extraordinary. Tropical fruit aromas abound immediately in this wine tempered by the slightest bit of herbaceousness and green chili. Refreshing and balance, these flavors intertwine nicely on the palate. A beautiful aperitif or an accompaniment for a light starter or seafood dish.
Heritage Ranch Pinot Grigio - California
Along the ocean-cooled California, early settler ranches serve as a constant reminder of the rich heritage of this area. Fruit for Heritage Ranch Cellars is grown here, where wind and fog intrusions from the Pacific cool the vines, moderating temperatures so the grapes can ripen slowly and evenly in the warm California sunshine. This bright Pinot Grigio offers an enticing bouquet of tangerine and orange blossom. The crisp entry and velvety mouthfeel burst into flavors of tropical peach, Margarita lime and just a hint of honey.
Bayshore Pinot Grigio - California
This lovely wine from Bayshore is produced from one of the first vineyards in California planted with Pinot Grigio that originally focused on dessert wines. That is until a wine importer, seeing the potential for table wines, used these grapes to launch a line of food-friendly table wines. Gorgeous aromas jump out of the glass and delicious flavors of melon, citrus and tangerine are completed by a refreshing thread of crisp acidity.
Back Story Chardonnay - California
The aromas are perfumed, have great fruit aromas of green apple, peach, pear, and slight hints of banana. Layers unfold sip after sip and flavors show themselves. Lemon zest, apple, and a hints of candied banana mingle nicely together. This wine is not too buttery, not too much oak, acid levels are great, and it is well rounded. This is a chardonnay wine for people who don't like Chardonnay. It is what a California coastline Chardonnay can and should be.
Vina Antiqua Chardonnay - Mendoza, Argentina
Argentina has been on a hot streak for more than 10 years now producing incredible wines for an amazing price. More and more people are turning to wines produced in Argentina on a daily basis. Case in point, if you love Chardonnay, our newest find, Viña Antigua Special Selection Chardonnay from Mendoza is perfect for you. A very well balanced wine with the optimal amount of green apple and pear notes with creamy layers and a vibrant but delicate finish that is absolutely pleasing to the senses. Not too oaky, not too buttery, not too acidic, just right.
El Portal Red Blend - California
Both Zinfandel and Merlot are popular grapes on their own and this combination with Syrah proves that the sum can be greater than its parts. Concentrated blackberry and cherry aromas are joined by notes of black currant, plum, spice and violet. Fruit forward flavors are accented with a touch of sweet tobacco and spice. A smooth texture and ripe tannins make this wine very food friendly.
Burke Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon - California
Burke Family Reserve Cabernet is an enjoyable wine from the moment the cork is popped. Made in the classic style, this wine serves up blackberry, currant, fresh herbs, and a hint of cedar with the lush fruit guiding you along the way. This wine goes perfectly with foods with umami flavors like burgers with bacon and Gorgonzola cheese or mom’s homemade meatloaf.
River's End Merlot Reserve - California
From two of the oldest vineyards along California's North Coast region where the Russian River meets the Pacific Ocean. The region known for ideal climate promotes slow, even maturing and great flavor development. A wonderful wine from the River’s End winemakers with ripe berry fruit flavors and aromas with a nice touch of oak. An amazingly versatile choice for serving with grilled duck, turkey, chicken, braised lamb, pork or beef – and a nice partner for dishes featuring a rich tomato sauce.
Montclair Vintners Merlot - California
Luscious fruit of plum and black cherry, with a pinch of fresh herbs round out the flavor profile. Because of its soft tannins and luscious fruit, Merlot is a delicious wine that’s food-friendly or can be savored by itself. It works with many types of meat or fowl, such as roast turkey or chicken, grilled blackened salmon, pasta with meat sauces, pork, grilled vegetables or a steak salad.
James & Bell Zinfandel Family Reserve - California
After two solid days tasting Zinfandels at the annual ZAP festival in San Francisco (the largest gathering of Zinfandel winemakers and enthusiasts in the world), this wine captured our attention immediately – unpretentious, understated and easy drinking. Aromas focus on sweet berry and licorice. Delicate fruit flavors complement the aromas while gentle tannins permit the flavors to shine through a nicely structured texture.
Gejas Private Reserve Big Bold Red Wine - California
As the name says, this is a wine big on flavor and bold, with ripe flavors floating over a fine structure of natural fruit acidity. If you haven’t already tried it, there’s no better time than now. The Geja’s Big Bold Red is a feisty, impudent red with prominent, aggressive tannins that are fresh and forward. This is one wine you can enjoy every day of the week at a price that’s hard to beat.
