Customer Favorites - Mixed 12-PK
Your selection includes two bottle of the following six wines:
Black Pheasant Sauvignon Blanc
Sauvignon Blanc is a wine that is enjoyable all year long. The crisp and refreshing profile makes it enjoyable as a cocktail party wine or a patio refresher. When you add food into the mix, the wine explodes with flavor when paired with summer salads, fresh fruits, roasted lean meats like turkey and citrus glazed pork. This is a versatile wine and that is why we love Black Pheasant Sauvignon Blanc. Aromas of grapefruit and orange zest and a back note of honeyed melon lead to flavors of citrus, melon and pear.
Hyatt Vineyards Riesling
Hyatt Vineyards can showcase exactly what makes the Riesling of the area so superb. Instantly attractive, the nose is full of fruit, with peach and apricot taking the lead. These flavors continue on the palate, met by the hallmark stone-fruit notes of Riesling. These luscious flavors meet a perfect balance between acidity and sugar to ensure this wine, simply put, stuns. As with many great Rieslings, this wine can be paired beautifully with spicy Asian cuisine, soft cheeses or all by itself, as a great aperitif.
Bayshore Pinot Grigio
This lovely wine from Bayshore is produced from one of the first vineyards in California planted with Pinot Grigio that originally focused on dessert wines. That is until a wine importer, seeing the potential for table wines, used these grapes to launch a line of food-friendly table wines. Gorgeous aromas jump out of the glass and delicious flavors of melon, citrus and tangerine are completed by a refreshing thread of crisp acidity.
This wine has smoky aromas intertwined with blood orange and dark berries. Its’ flavor profile is a salute to the homeland of Malbec, Cahors in France. It drinks profoundly with dark fruits such as blackberry with herbaceous notes, and that nice overlay of smoky, destined to be best friends with many grilled meats. It’s full bodied, has a personality, and has a finish that can please the wine drinker in all of us.
Gravelly Ford Zinfandel
It has a ruby, purple hue that coats the glass. Swirl after swirl unleashes the deep ripe fruit of blackberry and blueberry. The fruit is rich but the body is light, making a wine that can be enjoyed with or without food. Further inspection uncovers thin layers of vanilla, clove, and coffee. We are excited about this new addition to our lineup of California greats.
Monarch Glen Merlot
Merlot is the cornerstone of some amazing Bordeaux wines to date. Without Merlot, some of the most treasured wines in the world may not exist. Merlot in California may not be as popular as its French cousin but we think Merlot in California produces wines of such unique character and flavor that when we find one that also is available at a tremendous value, we have to show it off. Monarch Merlot from California is a wine that flaunts aromas of tangy cherry and sweet berries with flavors of berry, plum, and spices. A tasty wine that finishes clean and dry. So what food to pair with this wonderful wine? Roasted chicken rubbed with Herbs De Provence or grilled rack of lamb with fresh mint.
