What you get is deep colored wine with full robust flavors of blackberry, raspberry, and cherry, paired perfectly with firm tannins and a soft but full mouth feel. More and more, we are finding that Portuguese wines are becoming a hit of the party as they evolve into producing wines of world-wide fan fare. More recently in fact, Wine Spectator's number one wine of 2014 was in fact, from Portugal.
2013 Château Beau-Puits Cuvée Traditonal Bordeaux
Produced by the Tarride Family, this stunning Bordeaux flaunts perfect flavors of ripe cherries, fresh, herbs, and hints of fresh mint all from the traditional Bordeaux blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon.
2012 Backhouse Merlot – California
Backhouse Merlot is produced with the idea of providing wine drinkers with fruit forward wines of exceptional value that are ready to drink right away. This 2013 vintage of Merlot from California is garnet in color with flavors of black cherry on the palate.
2013 Coastal Passage Pinot Noir – California
Pinot Noir is one of those grapes that can only be grown in very small climate pockets around the world. Unlike Cabernet and Syrah, that can grow in more regions, Pinot produces unique flavor profiles based on region and California is one of the greats. You get intense fruit medium body out of these specific growing regions. The result is Coastal Passage Pinot Noir, a very expressive wine aromatically with lychee, cranberry, cola, raspberry, and red cherries abounding with hints of cinnamon and clove, wildflowers and cacao. Vineyards of South Eastern Australia bask in the cool breezes that waft off of the Indian and Pacific Oceans, creating the perfect growing conditions for Australia’s white wine varietals. This Chardonnay is crisp in style with aromas of lemongrass and spring blossom. Flavors of sweet melon and ripe peach give this wine a delicate and creamy texture.

Vila Nova Vinho Verde is light pale yellow in color and this refreshing white wine has a nose and palate that shows fresh fruit, such as peach, with hints of orange blossom. Cameron Hughes Lot 489 Triage White Blend – Washington State
