Fruity Reds & Refreshing Whites 12 Pack
Your selection includes the following wines:
Fair Oaks Zinfandel
This wine captured our attention immediately – unpretentious, understated and easy drinking. Aromas focus on sweet berry and licorice. Delicate fruit flavors complement the aromas while gentle tannins permit the flavors to shine through a nicely structured texture.
Backstory Cabernet Sauvignon
California’s story of Cabernet goes back over a hundred years, and vintage after vintage, this grape tells it’s story through glasses of wine across the world. Back Story Cabernet adds its own chapter with flavors of dark fruit of black cherry and cassis, with clove, and layers of vanilla and oak. Savor this wine with a beautifully charred Santa Maria style tri-tip steak and roasted vegetables or a perfectly trimmed filet mignon.
Kalder Cabernet Sauvignon
The wine displays a violet red color and the aromas of fresh red fruit—raspberries and cherries—along with notes of herbs and toasted coffee beans. The aromas follow through on the palate with red fruits, spices and bittersweet chocolate.
Wines produced in Colchagua Valley, Chile are outstanding. The unique climate and balance of cool air and warm sunshine of this region produces wines of concentration and finesse. After all, this region was voted Wine Region of the Year by Wine Enthusiast Magazine and we are constantly searching for our next great find from the area and this time, we found Cantavida Syrah. A Balanced wine with concentrated fruit of raspberry, spices, fresh herbs, and white pepper, with a slight hint of vanilla. A truly exuberant wine that leaves a lasting impression.
Gravelly Ford Zinfandel
It has a ruby, purple hue that coats the glass. Swirl after swirl unleashes the deep ripe fruit of blackberry and blueberry. The fruit is rich but the body is light, making a wine that can be enjoyed with or without food. Further inspection uncovers thin layers of vanilla, clove, and coffee. We are excited about this new addition to our lineup of California greats.
Monarch Glen Merlot
Monarch Glen Merlot from California is a wine that flaunts aromas of tangy cherry and sweet berries with flavors of berry, plum, and spices. A tasty wine that finishes clean and dry. So what food to pair with this wonderful wine? Roasted chicken rubbed with Herbs De Provence or grilled rack of lamb with fresh mint.
La Petite Tour Sauvignon Blanc
Sauvignon Blanc is light, refreshing, vibrant, and a all around crowd-pleasing white and La Petite Tour, produced from an 100 year old vineyard in California, is just that. Crisp flavors of grapefruit and green apple with notes of ripe fig are the most distinguishing characteristics this fruit-forward, grassy white wine with present minerality and a pleasing finish.
Coastal Passage Chardonnay
This wine opens with aromas of daffodil, pear, and apples, with hints of freshly baked french bread. Flavors range from peach to lemon tart and crème fraiche with rich mid-palate texture and a finish of grapefruit and green apple.
Spencer Family Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc
Bayshore Vintners Pinot Grigio
This lovely wine from Bayshore is produced from one of the first vineyards in California planted with Pinot Grigio that originally focused on dessert wines. That is until a wine importer, seeing the potential for table wines, used these grapes to launch a line of food-friendly table wines. Gorgeous aromas jump out of the glass and delicious flavors of melon, citrus and tangerine are completed by a refreshing thread of crisp acidity.
Terres Blonde Sauvignon
Produced in the Loire Valley in Southwest France, this crisp and refreshing white wine is a perfect example of what makes French Sauvignon Blanc amazing. Flavors of citrus zest paired with bell pepper and grassy notes are combined with vibrant acidity and a perky finish.
Twin Bridges Pinot Grigio
Gorgeous aromas jump out of the glass and delicious flavors of melon, citrus and tangerine are completed by a refreshing thread of crisp acidity. A perfect wine to stock up on for the upcoming summer months.
