2014 Blandine le Blanc White Blend (x2)
The Cotes du Gascogne is home to some very sought after white wines. Usually blends, these lovable white wines are crafted uniquely by some of the France’s prestigious châteaux, including Château de Cèdre, the producer of this wonderful white blend. Blandine Le Blanc is a blend of 60% Colombard and 40% Ugni-Blanc and is crafted from vines that are up to 30 years old, adding complex layers of flavor to the wine. The end result is an easily enjoyable white wine that is beyond basic. Elegant flavors of pineapple, grapefruit, and tropical fruits, with subtle green bell pepper, along with enticing aromatics, round out this fantastic white wine from Southwest France. Enjoy Blandine Le Blanc with an array of seafood, poultry, and light summery dishes.

A quick glance at this stunning Rosé and you’ll instantly notice the gorgeous salmon hue coming from the bottle. Some say this is the perfect color for judging Rosé from the South of France, noting that it will be light, refreshing, and have layers of fruit and depth that you would desire. A blend of Grenache and Cinsault, the Les Collines de Cézanne Rosé holds true to this ideology. As we opened the bottle and poured the first glass aromas of fresh smashed strawberries and white plums enticed our sense of smell. Swirl the wine around in the glass to unleash the of flavors lemon, grapefruit and white peaches, paired with the perfect amount of acidity. This Rosé doesn’t fall short as it lingers a second or two, delivering a pleasant mouthfeel. This Rosé is perfect for the summer and great as a pre-dinner drink or paired with poultry and even lamb dishes.
