2013 Cala De Poeti Morellino di Scansano - Maremma, Tuscany, Italy (x2)

2013 Cala de Poeti Morellino di Scansano is the quintessential wine from Maremma, a beautiful area of the Tuscan coast that is known as Italy’s Wild West. This fruity and dry red has a voluptuous texture, with fragrances of fresh cherries and plums. Made from hand-harvested grapes grown in a restricted production area between the rivers Ombrone and Albegna, Cala de Poeti Morellino di Scansano is ruby red, with fruity with notes of cherries, blackberries, and violets. It has a great complexity, with soft tannins that make it the ideal match for grilled red meat, lasagna, and mature cheeses.

Award Winner: Silver medal, 2017 Winemaker Challenge International Wine Competition; Bronze Medal, 2017 International Eastern Wine Competition

2015 Tremo Maceración Carbónica Tempranillo - Rioja, Spain (x1)

Carbonic Maceration is a cutting edge winemaking method where a carbon dioxide rich environment is used to ferment juice inside the grape. This results in very fruity wines with very little mouth-drying tannins. While most popular in France, Bodega Luis Alegre is using Carbonic Maceration in Spain on masterfully grown Tempranillo and Viura grapes for a juicy wine with an aromatic nose of raspberry, cherry and slight violet notes. Soft acidity provides just enough balance for fresh fruit notes that meet licorice on the finish.

Multiple Award Winner: 92-point Gold Medal, 2016 Sommelier Challenge International Wine & Spirits Competition; Bronze Medal, 2016 San Francisco International Wine Competition

Your Just For You Reds Case includes two bottles each of:

2015 Fuerza de la Tierra Tempranillo Joven - La Mancha, Spain

This full-bodied Tempranillo hails from one of the most prestigious Spanish vineyards. 2015 Fuerza de la Tierra La Mancha Tempranillo Joven catches the eye with an intense cherry red color. When uncorked, it excites with a powerful bouquet of red berries. The flavors are well-balanced, leading to a wide finish.

Multiple Award Winner: 91-point Gold Medal, 2017 Monterey International Wine Competition; Gold Medal, 2017 International Eastern Wine Competition

2016 La Reference Cabernet Sauvignon - Vin de Pays, France

Produced by Bordeaux wine magnate Bernard Magrez, 2016 La Référence Cabernet Sauvignon starts off bold on the palate and moves into a round, jammy finish. This classic French red is especially delicious with pizza and grilled red meats.

La Galleria Neroi - Italy

With a lovely contrast between its bright profile and bold flavors, La Galleria Nero d’Avola is truly a work of art. Made from Sicily’s most popular grapes, this fruity, non-vintage red asserts itself with strong flavors of plum and blackberry made complex by hints of spice and a sultry finish. Open a bottle next time you’re enjoying a flavorful beef dish, like a burger or stew.

2013 Granite Ridge Reserve Pinot Noir - South Africa

Since the 1920s, vintners have been honing Pinotage, a genetic hybrid of Pinot Noir and Hermitage (or Cinsault) grapes that yields a truly unique light red wine. South Africa’s Winery of Good Hope has perfected the hybrid, with a Pinotage that brings out the aspects of both grapes. In addition to the notes of cherry from the Pinot Noir, and the spiciness from the Hermitage, you'll enjoy a nice juicy palate with balance, length, and a bit of spice, especially if you drink it slightly chilled.

2015 Spencer Family Reserve Cask One Red Blend - California

Fill your glass with this deliciously smooth, robust red. Sweet black fruit aromas added to layers of ripe black cherry and plum flavors reflect a heavenly marriage of Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Syrah. Forward fruit flavors and a velvety texture make Spencer Family Cask Reserve the go-to red wine for everyday enjoyment.

Award Winner: 92-point Gold Medal, 2017 San Diego International Wine Competition; 87-point Silver Medal, Toast of the Coast Wine Competition 2016

2013 Sierra Trails Old Vines Zinfandel - California

Coming to us from some of the oldest Zinfandel plantings in California, Sierra Trails Old Vine Zinfandel is a complex red with aromas of ripe berry, dried plum, and red currants. The flavor hints at tobacco, black pepper, and sweet oak, which carries the fruits through a lingering finish.

Multiple Award Winner: 90-point Gold Medal, 2016 Critics Challenge International Wine Competition; 88-point Silver Medal, 2016 Monterey Wine Competition; Silver Medal, 2016 West Coast Wine Competition
