El Negotiante Merlot
This wine has acid structure that is very pleasing, making the wine burst with flavors of cherry, raspberry, fresh herbs, and a hint of pepper, making this wine a food lover’s best friend. We love this wine with grilled tri-tip sandwiches.
Gravelly Ford Cabernet Sauvignon
Indulge in flavors of black cherry, currant, and blackberry, with thin layers of vanilla, licorice, and tobacco. The tannins and acidity fall in the medium range as this wine is an easy drinking Cabernet that brings joy with or without pairing a beautiful rib eye or filet mignon.
Gravelly Ford Zinfandel
It has a ruby, purple hue that coats the glass. Swirl after swirl unleashes the deep ripe fruit of blackberry and blueberry. The fruit is rich but the body is light, making a wine that can be enjoyed with or without food. Further inspection uncovers thin layers of vanilla, clove, and coffee. We are excited about this new addition to our lineup of California greats.
Backstory Cabernet Sauvignon
Backstory Cabernet adds its own chapter with flavors of dark fruit of black cherry and cassis, with clove, and layers of vanilla and oak. Savor this wine with a beautifully charred Santa Maria style tri-tip steak and roasted vegetables or a perfectly trimmed filet mignon. Any way you choose to enjoy his wine, you will enjoy it from first pour to the last drop.
Monarch Glen Merlot
Monarch Merlot from California is a wine that flaunts aromas of tangy cherry and sweet berries with flavors of berry, plum, and spices. A tasty wine that finishes clean and dry. So what food to pair with this wonderful wine? Roasted chicken rubbed with Herbs De Provence or grilled rack of lamb with fresh mint.
This wine has smoky aromas intertwined with blood orange and dark berries. Its’ flavor profile is a salute to the homeland of Malbec, Cahors in France. It drinks profoundly with dark fruits such as blackberry with herbaceous notes, and that nice overlay of smoky, destined to be best friends with many grilled meats. It’s full bodied, has a personality, and has a finish that can please the wine drinker in all of us.
Coastal Passage Chardonnay
This wine opens with aromas of daffodil, pear, and apples, with hints of freshly baked french bread. Flavors range from peach to lemon tart and crème fraiche with rich mid-palate texture and a finish of grapefruit and green apple.
La Petite Tour Classic White
It is a delicately aromatic, medium-bodied wine with flavors of ripe pear and surprisingly bright citrus notes. And, it’s a versatile food wine, that pairs well with fish, grilled chicken or vegetables.
Spencer Family Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc
Crisp flavors of grapefruit and green apple with notes of ripe fig are the most distinguishing characteristics this fruit-forward, award-winning selection. Produced from a vineyard established more than 100 years ago by descendants of European winemakers, its grapes provide a marvelous complexity and balance. The winemaker recommends serving this delicate treat with grilled or sautéed seafood in a butter or cream sauce. And, it brings out the best in veggie dishes like spinach and cheese-stuffed pasta shells.
Turnstone Sauvignon Blanc
This Sauvignon Blanc starts off with a gentle perfume of honeysuckle and jasmine, leading to a mouth of Asian pear and honeydew melon, finishing with a balanced acidity of green grass and kiwi fruit. Considering Chile's admiration with seafood dishes, this wine pairs perfectly with anything from the sea you bring the table with succulent fruits and even cold sides such as tabouli.
Carter-Riley Pinot Grigio
Our experts are huge fans of the honey-scented, floral aromas and the easy-drinking crisp, tangy and sweet fruit flavors in the Carter-Riley Pinot Grigio. It was produced by one of the pioneer families of California’s wine industry, who started with a “pocket” vineyard in their backyard and now farm vineyards in top growing areas throughout the Golden State. The wine’s medium body and vibrant acidity makes it a particularly food-friendly partner.
Twin Bridges Chardonnay
Here’s a classic, fruit-forward Chardonnay that offers lush flavors of apple, citrus and melon with a note of hazelnut. It has a naturally crisp acidity that adds structure and carries the fruit flavors through a clean, dry finish. As a result, it makes an ideal choice for serving with fresh seafood or poultry, especially dishes featuring an herbed cream or butter based sauce.
