Mixed Case of the Mondays + Extra Day Off Mixed Trio
Your Extra Day Off Mixed Trio includes one bottle each of these weekend-worthy wines:
2015 Marcel Malbec
Marcel Malbec is a robust and rich red from the French countryside east of Bordeaux. Château du Cèdre farms with no herbicides or chemicals, and these grapes yield savory but slightly tart flavors of plums, blackberry, and smoked meats. Possessing firm tannins, Marcel Malbec is structured and concentrated, yielding a deep, complex wine.
2014 Nebla Old Vine Garnacha
Known as Grenache in France, Garnacha wine originated in Spain, where it is sought out for its juicy and smooth profile. 2014 Nebla Old Vine Garnacha was grown on 35-year-old vines in Valencia. Aromas of red fruits and notes of smoke and cedar begin on the nose and are joined on the palate by fleshy plum and a hint of black olive, leading into a long, berry-laden finish. We love this resolutely Mediterranean wine with paella and roasted meats.
2015 Domaine du Grand Mouton Muscadet Sevre et Maine
This refreshing and dry Loire Valley white opens with notes of beeswax, orange blossom, seashell, and honeyed pear. The aromas follow through to the palate where they are joined by a nice, chalky minerality, notes of lemon, and a long finish. This mouthwatering white is the perfect pairing for oysters and shellfish, and pleases Sauvignon Blanc lovers looking for something a little fuller.
Your Mixed Case of the Mondays includes one bottle each of:
