Mother's Day Stock Up Mixed 12 Pack
Your Mother's Day Stock Up Mixed 12 Pack contains the following selection of wines:
Cachette Blanc De Blancs
Who doesn't love sparkling wine? The Cachette Blanc De Blancs is a dry and refreshing sparkling wine that is fruity and gives notes of stone fruits of peach and apricot. Now you might be asking, what is Blanc de Blancs? To simplify this, it simply means that this sparkling wine is made entirely from Chardonnay Grapes, one of the three main grapes that usually find their way into French sparkling wine. Because of this, Cachette Blanc de Blancs is golden yellow in color and has light, delicate bubbles. The Airen grapes are carefully selected to extract the best aromas and flavors. The wine undergoes a natural fermentation using the Charmat method. The outcome is a youthful, floral wine with fruity aromas. The secondary fermentation takes place in small capacity vats creating finer bubbles. Simply put, the wine is delicious, made in small batches, and is the perfect bottle for celebrating anything from big events or the fact that it's Friday night. Cheers!
Aramis Red Blend
A stylistic red blend of Syrah, Cabernet Franc, and Tannat, some of the noble grapes that populate the southern region of France. When these three grapes get blended together, the results are outstanding. Cherry, raspberry, and blackberry combined with pepper, clove, and hints of earthiness round out the flavor profile in this French beauty. This a food lover's wine, pairing it with foods that have spice.
Cantavida Pinot Noir
The winemakers at Cantavida believe in excellence, not cutting corners, and doing things right the first time. It is these kinds of ideals that lead Cantavida to make excellent wines vintage after vintage. Located in Leyda Valley in central Chile, an ideal climate for growing Pinot Noir, this wine shines with lean, exquisite fruit flavors of strawberry and hints of spice. Cantavida Pinot Noir has a level of intensity that is pleasing to the senses and a true delight to drink. Spencer Family Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc
Carter-Riley Pinot Grigio
Our experts are huge fans of the honey-scented, floral aromas and the easy-drinking crisp, tangy and sweet fruit flavors in the Carter-Riley Pinot Grigio. It was produced by one of the pioneer families of California’s wine industry, who started with a “pocket” vineyard in their backyard and now farm vineyards in top growing areas throughout the Golden State. The wine’s medium body and vibrant acidity makes it a particularly food-friendly partner.
Bayshore Vintners Pinot Grigio
This lovely wine from Bayshore is produced from one of the first vineyards in California planted with Pinot Grigio that originally focused on dessert wines. That is until a wine importer, seeing the potential for table wines, used these grapes to launch a line of food-friendly table wines. Gorgeous aromas jump out of the glass and delicious flavors of melon, citrus and tangerine are completed by a refreshing thread of crisp acidity.
This wonderful Chardonnay is a limited production wine created as a tribute to one of California's pioneering vineyard families. It has a refreshing "say no to oak" style – bright and light with citrus, apple and tropical fruit aromas and flavors. A gentle acidity adds structure while allowing the delicate fruit flavors to shine. Versatile and food-friendly, it makes a good choice with seafood, poultry, or pasta dishes with butter-based sauces.
