2015 Longchase Vintners Cabernet Sauvignon
‚Äč
Light and versatile California Cabernet Sauvignon with tasty flavors of raspberry and cherry that gain complexity through a baking spice note. 2015 Longchase Vintners Cabernet Sauvignon is the bottle you want to uncork with a pizza, a couple friends, and your favorite John Coltrane album (we suggest Live at Birdland).

NV Villa Amoroso Toscana Rosso
There is something inherently special and charismatic about Tuscan wine. Some say this is instilled by the vine, while others are charmed by the balance and full-flavor. What wins us over is the wine’s proven food-friendliness. The contrast of tart cherry, plum, and strawberry flavors fuse with earthy notes of oregano, smoke, and tobacco, making it a wonderful dinner companion. Non-vintage Villa Amoroso Toscana Rosso hits every flavor note we expect, leaving us to want nothing else, except for maybe a few more bottles.

2016 Maison Gourmand Vin Rouge
Suited for many meals, and any social situation, Maison Gourmand Vin Rouge is a delightful and versatile French red with soft flavors of black cherry, tart currants and white pepper, with hints of leather. Pour a glass tonight.

2016 Paperbark Shiraz
2016 Paperbark Shiraz joins us from a fifth-generation winemaking family in southern Australia’s Barossa Valley, a region famous for its big, flavorful Shiraz. Named for an Australian tree with peeling bark and fluffy white flowers, Paperbark Shiraz is true to its region, with a lovely purple color and aromas of plum, vanilla, and white pepper. It’s silky on the palate with bright flavors of blackberry and plum, and notes of chocolate and spice, leading into a long, succulent finish.

2016 Trebuchet Red Blend
This dark, garnet-colored red hails from South Africa, and is named to commemorate a working Shropshire-built trebuchet on its estate. Inspired by the fine blends of Bordeaux, this wine offers a wonderful balance of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec grapes. 2016 Trebuchet Red Blend is rich and lightly earthy, with flavors of ripe blackberries and plums, and firm tannins. Enjoy it with hearty red meat dishes, especially if they come with a side of frites.

2013 Granite Ridge Reserve Pinot Noir
Delicate, small Pinot Noir grapes are notoriously difficult to grow. When properly ripened, they result in one of the most coveted red wines in the world. Staying true to the varietal’s light, bright red color, Granite Ridge Pinot Noir has beautiful cherry and cranberry flavors, hints of fresh herbs, and an elegant, low-acid mouth feel. Granite Ridge Pinot Noir is a crowd-pleaser, pairing with a wide variety of foods, from meatier fishes, to gamier poultry, to herb-covered white pizza.

2012 El Macho Reserva Utiel-Requena
This Tempranillo-based red was produced in Utiel-Requena, in the famous wine region of Valencia on Spain’s east coast. With a supremely juicy and fruity character, 2012 El Macho Reserva Utiel-Requena is ripe with notes of dark fruit like plum and cherry with velvety tannins and a hint of vanilla.

2016 Kepe Tempranillo
Tempranillo is Spain’s signature red grape, creating highly enjoyable and versatile wines like this exciting new vintage of multiple award-winning Kepe Tempranillo. This ripe red balances notes of red berries and darker fruits like plum and currant, moving into a satisfying finish. We love a glass on its own, or with a crowd-pleasing meal—pizza, pasta, grilled meat, and a variety of Mexican dishes.

2013 Sierra Trails Old Vine Zinfandel
Coming to us from some of the oldest Zinfandel plantings in California, Sierra Trails Old Vine Zinfandel is a complex red with aromas of ripe berry, dried plum and red currants. The flavor hints at tobacco, black pepper and sweet oak, which carries the fruits through a lingering finish.

Bold and sweet Nero d’Avola is Sicily’s preeminent grape, creating charismatic wines with unmistakable fruit flavors, subtle notes of smoke, and nuances of spice. When sipping non-vintage Val di Botte Nero d’Avola, you’ll enjoy a strong presence of blackberry and plum, with hints of licorice and chile pepper.
