Haut Vignac Red Blend - Perigord, Southwest France

The grapes in 2015 Haut Vignac Périgord are grown near the Dordogne River in beautiful southwest France, and produce an attractive, ruby red wine. This thoughtful blend of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Cabernet Franc engages the drinker with fruity and pleasant aromas. The first sip delights with a soft and fruity flavor, rounded out by soft tannins. Indulge in this wine whenever you want to savor something beautiful, but be sure to keep a bottle or two on hand next time you’re enjoying grilled food.

Le Parlement Bordeaux - Bordeaux, France

Perfectly balanced 2014 Le Parlement Bordeaux Rouge draws its savory and complex character from the soil, climate, and time-tested traditions that make up Bordeaux’s inimitable terroir. This supple, smooth-drinking red is vivid in the glass, and thrills the palate with flavors of black cherry and currant, hints of cedar, silky tannins, and a well-rounded finish. Made from a thoughtful blend of 60% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 15% Cabernet Franc.

Bertoli Chianti D.O.C.G. - Chianti, Tuscany, Italy

We don't own smoking jackets, but drinking this velvety Chianti makes us feel like we're wearing them. Like a friendly debate, this plush Italian red is intense but refined with wild berry flavors and a slight smokiness. 2014 Bertoli Chianti DOCG is a delight at the dinner table. Enjoy it with cheese and charcuterie hearty pastas pizza and meat or fish.

Tremo Maceracion Carbonica Tempranillo - Rioja, Spain

Carbonic Maceration is a cutting edge winemaking method where a carbon dioxide rich environment is used to ferment juice inside the grape. This results in very fruity wines with very little mouth-drying tannins. While most popular in France, Bodega Luis Alegre is using Carbonic Maceration in Spain on masterfully grown Tempranillo and Viura grapes for a juicy wine with an aromatic nose of raspberry, cherry and slight violet notes. Soft acidity provides just enough balance for fresh fruit notes that meet licorice on the finish.

Multiple Award Winner: 92-point Gold Medal, 2016 Sommelier Challenge International Wine & Spirits Competition; Bronze Medal, San Francisco International Wine Competition 2016

Sierra Trails Old Vines Zinfandel - California

Coming to us from some of the oldest Zinfandel plantings in California, Sierra Trails Old Vine Zinfandel is a complex red with aromas of ripe berry, dried plum, and red currants. The flavor hints at tobacco, black pepper, and sweet oak, which carries the fruits through a lingering finish.

Multiple Award Winner: 90-point Gold Medal, Critics Challenge International Wine Competition 2016; 88-point Silver Medal, Monterey Wine Competition 2016; Silver Medal, West Coast Wine Competition 2016

Qapay Syrah Reserva - Valle Central, Chile

This Syrah from Chile’s Maule Valley showcases the region’s traditional winemaking techniques, like dry farming and growing organically. Produced from the booming region’s grapes, the truly terrific Qapay Syrah Reserva offers a harmonious balance of blueberry, blackberry, and boysenberry flavors, accompanied by allspice, fresh herbs, and white pepper.

Della Flora Pinot Grigio I.G.T. - Pavia, Italy

Produced by Coli, a leading wine producer in Italy since 1926, this Pinot Grigio from the Pavia region of Lombardy defines Italian Pinot Grigio. Sun-laced days and cool winter nights allow the grapes to ripen consistently, ensuring the proper balance of flavors and acids, resulting in an amazing drinking experience. You can expect flavors of citrus zest, apples, pears and nectarines, accompanied by mild notes of almond and ginger. We recommend serving this wine ice cold to maximize its refreshing attributes.

Dr. Wilhelm Riesling - Rheinhessen, Germany

Orange blossoms and crisp citrus perfume this complex German Riesling. 2015 Dr. Wilhelm Riesling opens up in the glass, with a slightly off-dry, honeyed feel that is lightened by a streak of tangerine acidity. Drink it now.

Qapay Sauvignon Blanc - Valle Central, France

Qapay Sauvignon Blanc is a citrusy and fresh white wine made from central Chilean grapes. The region’s wonderful sun and consistently dry growing season create near-perfect ripening conditions. Taste for grapefruit and green apple followed by zesty green fruits and a long, crisp finish. Enjoy Qapay Sauvignon Blanc as an aperitif or cocktail wine, and keep pouring it throughout your meal. It’s ideal with arugula, fennel, or roasted bell peppers salads, and richer white meats like pork and lobster.

Vinum Chenin Blanc - South Africa

Vinum Africa has succeeded in making a beautiful wine from an oft-neglected grape. Chenin Blanc was once known as the “ugly duckling of Stellenbosch,” but Vinum has nurtured it into a vibrant and elegant white, with exciting aromas of white petals and crisp citrus. The palate has layers of fresh lime and gentle spices, underscored by fruit, and finished with a refreshing minerality. Enjoy Vinum Chenin Blanc with food of your choice. We find that it’s especially delicious with the spices in Thai and Indian food.

Snickerdoodle Chardonnay - California

Crisp, refreshing Chardonnay is the first thing that comes to mind when most people think of white wine. Snickerdoodle makes a fresh Chardonnay, with flavors of green apple, nectarine and juicy melon. A subtle hint of oak adds complexity without cutting into the wine’s crispness, resulting in a delicious gem of a California Chardonnay.

Award Winner: 90-point Gold Medal; 2016 Critics Challenge International Wine Competition
