Anta da Serra Red Blend (x2)
A blend of native grapes to the country of Portugal, Anta De Serra is for red wine lovers who love lush bold fruit with a full mouthfeel, while retaining the characteristics of the terroir. What you get is deep colored wine with full robust flavors of blackberry, raspberry, and cherry, paired perfectly with firm tannins and a soft, but full, mouthfeel.
Cachil Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva (x2)
Colchagua Valley, Chile is home to many amazing wineries producing gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon, just like Cachil. This reserve offering from one of the premier Cabernet Sauvignon producing regions of Valle Central boasts beautiful flavors from this stunning vintage. Currants, raspberry, and cassis take the lead, followed by hints of cocoa. Enjoyably lighter in body than most cabs from this region, it has a medium body and a smooth silky finish. Chile is known for being innovative with wine over the last decade and this is a great example of why wines in from this region are a perfect fit for most occasions. It’s no wonder why Colchagua Valley was named Wine Region of the Year in 2005 by Wine Enthusiast Magazine.
Della Flora Nero d'Avola (x2)
Italy is home to almost 350 different wine grape varieties, giving wine lovers a plethora of styles to choose from. One of our favorites, Nero d’Avola from Sicily has found a home in our cellar. These wines are bold in nature. After all, Nero d’Avola also is known as the “Black Grape of Avola.” When crafted well like the Della Flora Nero d’Avola, they yield a bold wine with lots of dark blackberry fruits, plum, sweet and smoky nuances and hints of spice. This combination in perfect harmony is a blessing on our palates with its smooth and sultry finish. Enjoy this wine with hearty stews, gamy meats, and our favorite, bacon buffalo cheeseburgers.
Camartina Carménère (x2)
Chile’s Central Valley is located directly in between the Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Its residents can ski in the morning and then catch the sunset down by the water in the evening. Its central location provides a lifestyle balance that we all crave to have, being able to live somewhere amazing, and work somewhere equally as stunning. The attitudes of the crafters of this amazing wine shows profoundly in the 2014 vintage of Camartina Carmenere. The wine displays a violet red color and the aromas of fresh red fruit—raspberries and cherries—along with notes of herbs and toasted coffee beans. The aromas follow through on the palate with red fruits, spices and bittersweet chocolate. So no matter which side of the country you live, whether it be coastal or inland, you can find joy in this fun and flexible wine from Chile. Serve this wine with a zesty pork dish, or a hearty tomato seafood stew.
Geja's Private Reserve Big Bold Red (x2)
As the name says, this is a wine big on flavor and bold, with ripe flavors floating over a fine structure of natural fruit acidity. If you haven’t already tried it, there’s no better time than now. The Geja’s Big Bold Red is a feisty, impudent red with prominent, aggressive tannins that are fresh and forward. This is one wine you can enjoy every day of the week at a price that’s hard to beat.
Longchase Vintners Cabernet Sauvignon (x2)
A 2013 Vintage Cabernet, this wine has flavors of cherry, raspberry and cinnamon with a medium finish and a light mouth feel. This is a wine that can be enjoyed every day no matter what you are doing, ordering pizza from your favorite neighborhood joint or grilling with lots of friends.
Pico Malbec (x2)
Its flavor profile is a salute to the homeland of Malbec, Cahors in France. It drinks profoundly, with dark fruits such as blackberry with herbaceous notes, and that nice overlay of smoky, destined to be best friends with many grilled meats. It’s full bodied, has a personality, and has a finish that can please the wine drinker in all of us.
Villa Amoroso Toscana Rosso (x1)
There is something inherently special about the winemaking region of Tuscany. The wines possess a charismatic profile found in this central Italy region. What makes them so special? Some say it is the unique flavors that come from the vines. Others say it’s the balance and full-flavor but lean attributes of the wine that is crafted here. For us, we love that it is a food lover’s wine. The contrast of tart cherry, plum, and strawberry fuse together with oregano, smoke, tobacco alongside elements of clay from the soil. Separate, they are unique, but together they are one. That is why we are so ecstatic with our Villa Amoroso Toscana Rosso from the Tuscany region. Villa Amoroso hits every flavor note we expect, leaving us to want nothing else, except for maybe a few more bottles.
