Reds of the World 12-Pack
We've put togther a selection of red wines sourced from all over the world with one goal - to showcase they style and character of the region it is produced in. The following wines are included in our Reds of the World 12-Pack
Tremo Maceracion Carbonica Tempranillo - Rioja, Spain (x2)
Carbonic Maceration is a cutting edge winemaking method where a carbon dioxide rich environment is used to ferment juice inside the grape. This results in very fruity wines with very little mouth-drying tannins. While most popular in France, Bodega Luis Alegre is using Carbonic Maceration in Spain on masterfully grown Tempranillo and Viura grapes for a juicy wine with an aromatic nose of raspberry, cherry and slight violet notes. Soft acidity provides just enough balance for fresh fruit notes that meet licorice on the finish.
Abbazia Barbera d' Asti D.O.C.G. - Asti, Italy (x2)
Located in the rolling hills between Milan and Genoa, Asti is known for some of the world’s best wines and cuisine. The Barbera made in Asti is second to none. This elegant wine is full and dry, with firm tannins and ripe red berry flavors. While Barbera ages well, its youthful nature is especially exciting during the young stages of its bottle life.
Coastal Passage Pinot Noir - California (x2)
Coastal Passage Pinot Noir is a very aromatic wine, with lychee, cranberry, cola, raspberry, and red cherries abounding. Hints of cinnamon, clove, wildflowers and cacao are present, too. This red has a bright, food-friendly profile that pairs perfectly with any food with spice.
River's End Cabernet Sauvignon - Monterey, California (x2)
Monterey’s Salinas Valley, the home of this delicious Cabernet Sauvignon, receives intense sunshine throughout the day. At night, cool air funnels in from the Pacific Ocean, giving the vines optimal balance to fully ripen. The end result is River’s End Cabernet, a satisfying and youthful red with flavors of black currant, cherry, red bell pepper, and baking spices.
Nectar Grenache Noir - France (x2)
The name Nectar isn’t a reference to the wine's style but to nektar, the drink of the Gods. True to the heavenly style of French Grenache, this herbaceous red is rich with flavors of dried strawberries, plus a balance of tobacco and white pepper.
Château Canon LaForêt Bordeaux Supérieur - Bordeaux, France (x2)
Saint-Emilion is one of the most revered locations in Bordeaux, the historic French region that is legendary for its fine wine. 2015 Château Canon LaForêt Bordeaux Supérieur is a charming example of the subregion’s clay and limestone-inspired terroir, offering a pronounced nose of cherries and red fruit, and a velvety and unctuous mouthfeel that leads into a wonderfully balanced finish.
