Reserve Selections Red 12-PK (+$20)
Your selection includes two bottles each of the following six wines:
Center Cut Cabernet Sauvignon
Your springtime supplies for grilling should include this wine. A full bodied red wine that brings out the flavors of spiced grilled meats and veggies. Distinctively complex, this full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon establishes itself with aromas of deep blackberry, dark plum, and hints of currant, continuing on to rich, round flavors of espresso, dark chocolate, and cedar smoke layered with toasty oak.
Cantavida Pinot Noir
Located in Leyda Valley in central Chile, an ideal climate for growing Pinot Noir, this wine shines with lean, exquisite fruit flavors of strawberry and hints of spice. Cantavida Pinot Noir has a level of intensity that is pleasing to the senses and a true delight to drink. Serve this Pinot Noir slightly chilled and serve with foods with fresh herbs and spice like al pastor tacos and blackened salmon.
Sierra Trails Old Vine Zinfandel
Coming to us from some of the oldest Zinfandel plantings in California, the Sierra Trails Old Vine Zinfandel is a complex wine offering aromas of ripe berry, dried plum and red currants. These remarkable fragrances are echoed in the flavoring where a hint tobacco, black pepper spice and sweet oak lifts the fruit and carry them through a lingering finish.
Gravelly Ford Cabernet Sauvignon
Indulge in flavors of black cherry, currant, and blackberry, with thin layers of vanilla, licorice, and tobacco. The tannins and acidity fall in the medium range as this wine is an easy drinking Cabernet that brings joy with or without pairing a beautiful rib eye or filet mignon.
Wines produced in Colchagua Valley, Chile are outstanding. The unique climate and balance of cool air and warm sunshine of this region produces wines of concentration and finesse. After all, this region was voted Wine Region of the Year by Wine Enthusiast Magazine and we are constantly searching for our next great find from the area and this time, we found Cantavida Syrah. A Balanced wine with concentrated fruit of raspberry, spices, fresh herbs, and white pepper, with a slight hint of vanilla. A truly exuberant wine that leaves a lasting impression.
El Negotiante Merlot
The 2014 is bright and vibrant. It has some acid structure that is very pleasing, making the wine burst with flavors of cherry, raspberry, fresh herbs, and a hint of pepper, making this wine a food lover’s best friend. We love this wine with grilled tri-tip sandwiches.
