Bayshore Pinot Grigio
This lovely wine from Bayshore is produced from one of the first vineyards in California planted with Pinot Grigio that originally focused on dessert wines. That is until a wine importer, seeing the potential for table wines, used these grapes to launch a line of food-friendly table wines. Gorgeous aromas jump out of the glass and delicious flavors of melon, citrus and tangerine are completed by a refreshing thread of crisp acidity.
A crisp white that delivers flavors of melon, honey, and citrus with a vibrant but slightly weighted finish. It’s a wine that at the price, is perfect for having around, chilled, ready to go at a moment’s notice.
Coastal Passage Chardonnay
This wine opens with aromas of daffodil, pear, and apples, with hints of freshly baked French bread. Flavors range from peach to lemon tart and crème fraiche with rich mid-palate texture and a finish of grapefruit and green apple.
In California, Viognier is widely used as a blending grape but make no mistake, this variety is in a class all of its own. It's dry but with flavors of melon and peach, with hints of banana and vanilla, this is a wine that shines with so many food dishes that it's hard to name just one. Rest assured, that this wine is no slouch by itself and can be a cocktail party wine that everybody will enjoy.
Cannery Row Chardonnay
Based in Monterey County along California’s famed Central Coast, this talented winemaker blended fruit from a cool-climate vineyard along the Arroyo Seco riverbed with a small lot from a warm inland valley. The result: a stylish, delicious, classic California Chardonnay. Its fresh fruit aromas lead to flavors of apple, nectarine and ripe juicy melon. A hint of toasty oak and vanilla from oak aging adds depth and complexity, while a balancing acidity keeps it refreshing.
Carma Sauvignon Blanc
Carma is a clean, citrusy, lean and fresh wine. The nose is full of grapefruit and green apple followed by zesty flavors of green fruits, lime, and floral notes and a long, crisp finish. Outstanding as an aperitif or a cocktail wine, it is also ideal with salads using arugula, fennel, or roasted bell peppers, and is a refreshing companion for richer white meats like pork and lobster.
