With a 54% Shiraz 46% Merlot blend from grapes grown sustainability into Stellenbosch, South Africa, this wine shows that good things are still to come from the region. Forward cherries and red fruit come together with spicy aspects from the Shiraz, with ripe but firm tannins. The wine is a grilled meats best friend.
Pico Malbec (x2)
Its flavor profile is a salute to the homeland of Malbec, Cahors in France. It drinks profoundly, with dark fruits such as blackberry with herbaceous notes, and that nice overlay of smoky, destined to be best friends with many grilled meats.
