Tremo Maceracion Carbonica
Carbonic Maceration is a cutting edge winemaking method where a carbon dioxide rich environment is used to ferment juice inside the grape. This results in very fruity wines with very little mouth-drying tannins. While most popular in France, Bodega Luis Alegre is using Carbonic Maceration in Spain on masterfully grown Tempranillo and Viura grapes for a juicy wine with an aromatic nose of raspberry, cherry and slight violet notes. Soft acidity provides just enough balance for fresh fruit notes that meet licorice on the finish.
