Qapay Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva

Central Chile’s Maule Valley possesses some of the country’s oldest vineyards, and is currently undergoing a renaissance, producing innovative wines like Qapay Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon. This exciting red has concentrated dark berry flavors and an herbaceous vibe. Start here if you want to explore the wines of Chile, the new hotspot for the oenophile set.

Anta da Serra Red Blend

Anta Da Serra is for wine lovers seeking a bold red with flavors of blackberry, raspberry, and cherry. This soft, full red blend has a deep color, and retains the characteristics of the Portuguese grapes that make up its lush character.
Award Winner: Bronze Medal, International Women’s Wine Competition 2016

Les Chartrons Bordeaux

Style and character shine in this charming red from the most storied wine region in France. Produced from 70% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, this indulgent blend is ideal as an aperitif or as the complement to a casual meal. Flaunting a lively cherry red color, the flavors are clean and fruity, with pronounced cherry, spice, and fresh herbs on the palate, a rounded mouthfeel, and supple tannins.
Multiple Award Winner: 94-point Platinum Medal, Winemaker Challenge International Wine Competition 2016; 90-point Gold Medal, Monterey Wine Competition 2016

Monarch Glen Barbera

Enjoy the luscious flavors of ripe cherry and dark blackberry that join in harmony with notes of sweet spice and vanilla in every glass of 2015 Monarch Glen Barbera. This juicy, food-friendly red pairs with a wide variety of food, but we especially love it with mushroom risotto.

Tremo Carbonic Maceration Tempranillo

Carbonic Maceration is a cutting edge winemaking method where a carbon dioxide rich environment is used to ferment juice inside the grape. This results in very fruity wines with very little mouth-drying tannins. While most popular in France, Bodega Luis Alegre is using Carbonic Maceration in Spain on masterfully grown Tempranillo and Viura grapes for a juicy wine with an aromatic nose of raspberry, cherry and slight violet notes. Soft acidity provides just enough balance for fresh fruit notes that meet licorice on the finish.
Award Winner: Bronze Medal, San Francisco International Wine Competition 2016

Villa Amoroso Chianti

These days, Chianti means way more than basket-woven bottles of table wine. Villa Amoroso sets itself apart with a joyful blend of 85% Sangiovese and 15% regional varietals, creating a foodie-thrilling balance of tart red fruit and spicy herb flavors. The notes of smoke, clay, peppers, and tomato perfectly compliment tomato-based Italian dishes and dried meats. Don’t believe us? Pick up a bottle and see for yourself why Chianti is the most consumed, talked, and written-about Italian wine.
Multiple Award Winner: 87-point Silver Medal, Winemaker Challenge International Wine Competition 2016; Bronze Medal, San Francisco International Wine Competition 2016; Bronze Medal, International Women’s Wine Competition 2016
