Among the many grapes that originate from France, two come to mind that have been known to craft stunning wines. Malbec has a dark, rustic nature and Merlot with its fruit forward, soft, and herbaceous character are two wines, that when put together, craft a unique wine flavor. Cuvèe Joëlle is a perfectly balanced blend of Malbec and Merlot fusing flavors of red plum, raspberry, blackberry, vanilla and fresh herbs. This wine is meant to be paired with fun and exciting dishes like bacon-wrapped blue cheese stuffed dates, pungent cheeses, and bacon blue cheese burgers.
Anta da Serra Red Blend
A blend of native grapes to the country of Portugal, Anta De Serra is for red wine lovers who love lush bold fruit with a full mouthfeel, while retaining the characteristics of the terroir. What you get is deep colored wine with full robust flavors of blackberry, raspberry, and cherry, paired perfectly with firm tannins and a soft, but full, mouthfeel.
Pretium Red Blend
The region of Buzet AOC in Southwest France is known for producing quality Bordeaux style blends. The primary grapes of Buzet, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Merlot are great by themselves, but when blended together, the results are wines with deep personalities. Pretium is a blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Malbec with grapes only from vineyards in Buzet, located along the Garonne River. The winemaking team combines traditional winemaking techniques with modern equipment—a fusion of ideology in winemaking that yields an elegant profile of red fruits and spice in a well-balanced mouthfeel and a delicate finish.

Colchagua Valley in Chile is home to many amazing wineries that produce gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon, just like Cachil. This reserve offering from one of the premier Cabernet Sauvignon producing regions of Valle Central boasts beautiful flavors from this stunning vintage. Currants, raspberry, and cassis take the lead, followed by hints of cocoa. Enjoyably lighter in body than most cabs from this region, it has a medium body and a smooth silky finish. Chile is known for being innovative with wine over the last decade and this is a great example of why wines in from this region are a perfect fit for most occasions. It’s no wonder why Colchagua Valley was previously named Wine Region of the Year by Wine Enthusiast Magazine.

Bayshore Vintners Pinot Grigio
This lovely wine from Bayshore is produced from one of the first vineyards in California planted with Pinot Grigio that originally focused on dessert wines. That is until a wine importer, seeing the potential for table wines, used these grapes to launch a line of food-friendly table wines. Gorgeous aromas jump out of the glass and delicious flavors of melon, citrus and tangerine are completed by a refreshing thread of crisp acidity.
This wine is fresh, with flavors of green apple, nectarine, and juicy melon. Only a small touch of oak, this wine remains crisp and refreshing with a perfect amount of linger in the finish. Purely delicious Chardonnay, a gem of a find from California.

White Bordeaux is not on most people's wine radar, but we get excited for white Bordeaux. For us, it has everything we love about Sauvignon Blanc, while adding complexity that true enthusiasts can appreciate. When we found Le Parlement Bordeaux Blanc, we were blown away by the balance. It is delicate, with levels of finesse layered into its pale straw color. Attractive flavors of zesty citrus, fresh grass, gooseberry, and honeysuckle yield generously after every sip. This is a limited wine that must not be missed.

Cavas are absolutely sensational and truly an amazing value for sparkling wine. The Fincalegre Cava was produced by Bodegas Luis Alegre with the goal of providing a luxurious bubbly at an approachable price. The Cava Brut is the flagship wine of this effort. Made with the local Spanish grapes of Macabeo (40%), Xarel-lo (40%) and Chardonnay (20%), the gapes for this wine are picked by hand to ensure the highest quality. The winemakers of Bodegas Luis Alegre are perfectionists and they control the winemaking process from vine to glass. This control enables them to ensure that everything is as they like it. This includes the natural aromas of the varietals (green apple and citrus) to be present on the nose. The technique used in making this wine enables the complex flavors of a great sparkling wine to be added to the fresh fruit flavors. Perfect as an aperitif, it can also pair with food like sushi or spicy Mexican and Asian dishes. Stunning sparkler and an affordable price.
