2015 Cuvee Joelle Malbec et Merlot

Among the many noteworthy French grapes, two have become especially treasured for their stunning wines. Malbec has a dark, rustic nature, while Merlot features a soft, fruit forward, and herbaceous character. When blended, they craft a unique flavor. Cuvèe Joëlle fuses red plum, raspberry, blackberry, vanilla, and fresh herbs. This exciting red blend is meant to be paired with fun dishes like bacon-wrapped blue cheese stuffed dates, pungent cheeses, and bacon blue cheese burgers.

2013 Granite Ridge Pinotage

Pinotage has an interesting history. Originating as a genetically engineered hybrid of Pinot Noir and Cinsault (known as Hermitage in South Africa, thus the name), it came into existence back in the 1920s. Thinking the hybrid would make very good wine, the initial results were not good. If mishandled, Pinotage can make a wine that has notes of acetone, certainly not something anyone would think to drink. However, when handled well, it can make a truly unique light red wine. And if anyone in South Africa would know how to handle a grape, it would be Alex Dale and the Winery of Good Hope. Their work with the grape is a total success. It truly brings out the aspects of both of the parents of Pinotage. It has notes of cherry from Pinot Noir and some spiciness from the Cinsault. Equally important, Alex avoids anything that reminds someone of the bad parts of Pinotage. Part of this was using a very light crush and it was delicious. You'll taste some red cherries, violets and a nice juicy palate with balance, length and a bit of funky spice. Enjoy slightly chilled and you will easily able to drink a whole bottle.

NV Val di Botte Nero d' Avola

Bold and sweet Nero d’Avola is Sicily’s preeminent grape, creating charismatic wines with unmistakable fruit flavors, subtle notes of smoke, and nuances of spice. When sipping Val di Botte Nero d’Avola, you’ll enjoy a strong presence of blackberry and plum, with hints of licorice and chile pepper. Try pairing it with gamy meat dishes like oxtail stew, or anything with applewood-smoked bacon.

Located directly between the Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, Chile’s Central Valley is a land of beautiful options. Camartina Carmanere speaks to this beauty and versatility with aromas of fresh raspberries and cherries, along with notes of herbs and toasted coffee beans. The aromas follow through on the palate with red fruits, spices and bittersweet chocolate. Whether you prefer the mountains, the beach, or want a little bit of both, you will find joy in this delicious Chilean red. Serve it with a zesty pork dish, or a hearty tomato seafood stew.

NV Bertoli Rosso

Anticipation is our favorite feeling. There’s nothing better than hearing familiar footsteps, putting a date in our calendars, or opening wine early so it can breathe. 2015 Maison Gourmand Vin Blanc

The grapes that make up the blend of Maison Gourmand are picked at the perfect ripeness to ensure that the wine represents the true terroir of Southwest France. Sauvignon Blanc provides this Vin Blanc a subtle, fruity flavor profile with heavy notes of citrus. Adding 40% of Loin De L’oeil to the Sauvignon Blanc gives the wine a full-bodied mouthfeel providing a luxurious sensation on the palate. The end result is a French white wine that is round, audacious, and fresh. A perfect accompaniment to light seafood pastas and desserts like apple tart.
