2014 Blandine le Blanc White Blend
The Cotes du Gascogne is home to some very sought after white wines. Usually blends, these lovable white wines are crafted uniquely by some of the France’s prestigious châteaux, including Château de Cèdre, the producer of this wonderful white blend. Blandine Le Blanc is a blend of 60% Colombard and 40% Ugni-Blanc and is crafted from vines that are up to 30 years old, adding complex layers of flavor to the wine. The end result is an easily enjoyable white wine that is beyond basic. Some say this is the perfect color for judging Rosé from the South of France, noting that it will be light, refreshing, and have layers of fruit and depth that you would desire.
