It's kind of dry, but not as dry as I like. It's kind of fruity, but it's not very complex at all. The finish is almost undetectable. I would consider this neither bold nor rich, light to mid-bodied at best. For overall flavor, it's not the worst I've had but there's just not much going on. However, this may be a good cooking wine or the base of a decent sangria. It may be better on ice, but I feel that's sacrilegious for red wine. Sorry...

I was looking for an affordable wine for weekday dinners and hit the jackpot. Beautiful color, delicious and warm flavors that reminds me of the sunny hills of Tuscany. Excellent fruit with a hint of spice.
