A fruit-forward wine with layers of generous dark berry and cherry aromas. Flavors emphasize cassis, raspberry and cherry with a hint of cedar. An easy-to-enjoy wine and example of what makes Cabernet Sauvignon so popular all around the world. This classic California Cab was one of our expert wine panel's favorites.
Check out a wine with big, ripe blackberry aromas joined by concentrated flavors of plum, currant, and berry with just a hint of toasty oak. This wine features all the signatures of a stylish Cabernet Sauvignon. Gentle tannins carry fruit flavors through to a clean, crisp finish.
This bright Cabernet Sauvignon from California's Lodi region is one of our newest arrivals. We tried this wine and we were taken by surprise. Cabs have the historical trait of being layer and silky with the dark fruit that we all love. Sometimes however, that heavier profile is something that we are not looking for in a wine and even though we love the fruit flavors, we need more pop and a slightly lighter body. Well when Leaping Horse Cabernet fell into our laps, we immediately knew this wines was filling a void we and our customers were longing for. Currants and Black Cherry intertwine with blueberry flavors with subtle nuisances of vanilla, mint, and eucalyptus, but with a lighter body and that is not only approachable, but very smooth and delicious.
Alta is the Portuguese word for High and the name is fitting. This wine is crafted from grapes that grow high in elevation in high-altitude vineyards in western Mendoza, the heart of Argentine winemaking. Balance, deep intense red, with round and persistent tannins that leaves you wanting more. In the mouth one can perceive green peppers, spices and ripe red fruits. Ideal to accompany red or game meats like deer, rabbit and boar.
